In April 2007 The Accent Group, an Australasian marketing and distribution group, became the new owners of Platypus and have been taking great care of this unique Australian retailer ever since.  

During 2008 Platypus refreshed each store's look and refocused the range of brands on offer to best suit the customer's evolving style. We're also always on the lookout for new, awesome store locations.
